Visabeira Group officially presents Nearing Visabeira, the new global brand succeeding Constructel Visabeira, a company minority-owned by Goldman Sachs Alternatives, which will now represent the activities developed in the energy and telecommunications sectors across the European and United States markets.
Built on more than 45 years of accumulated experience throughout Visabeira Group’s history, Nearing Visabeira carries this legacy into a new phase of international growth. The brand operates in 11 countries (Portugal, the USA, the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Denmark, Spain and Sweden) supported by a team of over 8,500 employees.
In 2025, Constructel Visabeira, now operating under the Nearing Visabeira brand, recorded revenues of approximately €2.2 billion, corresponding to annual organic growth of over 16%, reinforcing its position as one of the leading international players in critical infrastructure engineering. The USA and the United Kingdom accounted for more than 55% of Nearing Visabeira’s revenues in 2025, with the energy sector representing close to 50% of total activity during the same period.
The new brand reflects the company’s strategic evolution and consolidates its positioning as a reference partner in the design, implementation and management of energy and telecommunications networks, with the capability to operate in highly complex technical and operational environments.
More than a change of identity, this evolution results from a structural transformation of the business, historically focused on construction and telecommunications in Europe, into a global group with expanded engineering capabilities across the energy, telecommunications and digital sectors.

The Nearing Visabeira brand reflects the Group’s strategy of sustained growth and its international vision. The new identity strengthens proximity with clients, partners and communities, aligning with today’s major global challenges: connectivity and digitalisation, energy transition, electrification, network security and artificial intelligence.
